SKIMS, was founded by Emma, her husband, Jens Grede, and Kim Kardashian. It was launched in 2019 as a shape-wear clothing brand focused on body inclusivity and has sizes ranging from XXS to XXXXXL. Valued at over $3.2 billion in January 2022, the brand quickly rose to fame due to their heavy marketing strategy of using celebrities, social media influencers and prominent billboards; allowing them to compete with other top brands.
Good American
Emma co-founded Good American in 2016 and currently serves as the CEO. She approached Kris Jenner to propose having Khloe Kardashian to join the company as a co-founder. With this brilliant strategy, Khloe brought not only her star power, but also a solid customer base because of her large social media following and her own challenges with not easily accessing her size from popular brands.
The concept seems to work, as Good American sold $1 million on the first day and continues to hit impressive numbers while attracting new customers because of the brand's focus on accessible sizes for all body types.
